NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Village of Roseville – Building Demolition and Access Street
Sealed bids will be received by Village of Roseville at 107 N. Main Street, Roseville, OH 43777, until Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM local time, and then and there publicly opened and read (via live stream only, see Instructions to Bidders) for the Building Demolition and Access Street project. Bids must be delivered through the night deposit box, mail, parcel service or other delivery means in advance of the bid opening.
The Building Demolition and Access Street Project includes demolition and proper disposal of all existing structures on the property at 26 and 28 N. Main Street in the Village of Roseville. Work also includes construction of a new access street on the same site between Main Street and Potters Lane, complete with curb and sidewalk.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Roseville Community Center, 13047 Karl Brown Road, Roseville, Ohio 43777 on Tuesday February 9, 2021 at 10 AM.

Complete sets of bidding documents may only be purchased through Hull & Associates, Inc. Bidders may obtain bidding documents upon payment of $100.00 per set (non-refundable) in the form of cash or a commercial bank check payable to Hull & Associates, Inc. Bid documents may also be obtained by mail upon receipt of $100.00 plus $20.00 shipping fees at the above office.
Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidder’s entrance into a contract, if awarded the project.
Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided within these Bid Documents.
Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Muskingum County as determined by the Davis-Bacon Federal Wage Determinations.
The Engineer’s estimate is as follows: $260,000.00
Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner.
The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid.
